Visiting Andalucia in Spain
Andalusia is a sovereign region of Spain. As of the year 2009 it is said to have the highest population in Spain while it is the second largest in terms of land area. Andalusia has eight provinces namely: Almeria, Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaen, Malaga, and Seville.

For the few days off, it is best to rent a car because Andalucia is so big you cannot take it by foot and bus services is only recommended for locals. Car hire can help you reach the different attractions better.
Coming from Madrid, you can pass through the historic country of Don Quixote before you reach Cordoba. In Cordova, you’ll find several mosques built during the time the Muslims invaded Spain, there are also several Cathedrals since Spain is known to be the major player of the Holy Roman Empire and succeeded some conquests in the name of the Roman Catholic Church, and there is the Jewish quarter too. Next stop will be Seville, the capital city of Andalusia. There you’d see the famous gardens of Seville, the Cathedral, and some Arab influenced districts of Triana and La Macarena. The two districts really carried on the legacy or Arabia on their colorful fabrics and architecture. Last stop will be in Granada, it is where the very popular Alhambra Arab architecture is located. Alhambra is the last iron grip territory of the Moorish kingdom.
